You guys. Why are Tuesday nights not packed? $3 pints, and really talented local musicians who perform for open mic night?
She said the only way I could use it if she redid everybody's checks and put their food on my tab. By the time she was telling me that, some of my friends were already gone. So I had to pay full price plus the groupon that I bought. Moral of the story is attention to detail.
But the environment is great in this place. The server was very nice to us. She just didn't pay attention.
Place was clean and the drinks were good. The band was great!
An hour and a half and multiple beers later I come to realize that my friends have paid their tabs and that they were charged for their food. My friends were really eager to leave. The waitress told me that I can't use the promo code because I don't have $30 worth of food on my tab.
I love this place. Great food, great drinks, good crowd. Best neighborhood bar in West Texas.
Had bad experience with the server. I bought a group on online for $16, which I could use if I bought $30 with of food. So me and my friends did. I told the waitress to put the food that they order on my tab so I can use the Groupon code.
I had the (avocado tostada) and it was a nice snack-meal. I shared it with a friend and it was pretty filling. It wasn't quite what I expected, but I wasn't disappointed. You could probably split this between a small group of people of you wanted something small.
The atmosphere is great, food is not bad and the drinks are at a reasonable price. Only because of my experience I'm giving this place 2 stars.
Open mic night is alot of fun. I was amazed by so many new artist and the original material they brought. Can not wait to see whats next for some of these young musicians and even a few comedians. Drink pricing seems a bit on the high end maybe add some drink "specials" and raise another star. Overall fun but not for those living on a budget.
