Despite living in Corpus Christi, I consider the Concho Bike Shop my local bike shop. Not oly have I bought bikes from there, a also have them serviced at Concho Bike Shop.

upon my first time entering I was greeted at the door. They helped me find everything I needed for my particular needs. And as a very price conscious shopper they helped me find things that were in my price range as well.
Walked in and despite 3 workers not really don't anything, I was never asked if I needed help. One girl looked at me and just kept doing whatever she was doing, not even a hello. Also heard a guy in the lawn part of the store not talking so nice about a certain race. Won't be coming back.
Great shop, good inventory, expert repair service. If they don't have something in stock they can get it there very quickly for you. Pricing is great too!
I have bought a few thousand dollars worth of bike parts from this shop over the years. This ranges across 2 complete bikes, A nice set of triple wall rims, multiple tubes, multiple tire, grips, handlebars, air pumps, a helmet, bike lock. This shop has gone nothing but downhill. My last purchase (a rockhopper 29er) is nothing but a lemon. I would have rather bought my bike in a box and taken it to walmart to have it assembled. If you ride anything costing less than a few grand and have no carbon parts on it don't bother going here. They won't give your bike any attention or even care if they get it done right or not. I've blindly walked into shops where i have never been and get treated better than here where i have bought so much throughout the years. I wouldn't even go here for tubes anymore at this point.
