Calvert collision center fixed my 2001 Cadillac. The staff was very helpful and just like they advertise The repair was invisible!! If you want your car fixed right they are the place to go!
Overall, great staff, very friendly and helpful. Several times when I called they had to actually go out to the garage to check on things before giving me an update. I highly recommend them!
To avoid issues make sure when you schedule your appointment that all the parts they have to order are actually arrived so they can just get them on and done without having to wait for them to arrive. My appointment was on a Monday so I called the previous friday to ensure all parts were there. On Sunday I called enterprise and confirmed my rental reservation and that a car would be available.
Overall they did decent but I will not be returning.
When I received my vehicle and insurance had doled out a considerable large amount for the repairs. I noticed things weren't aligned correctly, a piece that wasn't damaged before had a crack in it, and they washed it but there was wax residue stuck in places that wasn't wiped off.
I was told several times that they would call to remind me of my appointment, the progress of my vehicle after the first week, and that they would call when my vehicle was finished. I never received any calls and had to call and pester them about the progress of my repair.
Amazing quick service/repairs. They made it look like new! Was done in 5 days. Staff was always friendly and willing help. Side note enterprise ental co is literally right next door. Turn in your vehicle for repairs and slude on over for your rental. Easy!
I took my VW to Calvert in January and was told they would call me in a few days after they had a chance to source parts. I had to call back one week later and was told they were having problems locating replacement parts, but they would call back in a few days. Again no call back and this went on for a few months. I suggested they call a VW dealer for parts, but they had their own source. Bottom line...they never did what they said they'd do and I took my VW to Busker's Body Shop across town. Busker's had the VW looking like new in less than two weeks.
Everything about this place is awesome! Getting an estimate was easy and very thorough, he caught something that a different place hadn't. He told me what to expect and kept me updated on the progress of getting the insurance cleared (So the guy that rear ended me insurance would cover the repairs). Once that was done he got my rental set up for me, I just had to call and set a day to drop off the car and pick up the rental at the connected enterprise. Once I dropped off my car Monday morning I picked up my rental with no issues. I called for a progress report on my cars' repair Monday night and they said it just had to be painted. Tuesday afternoon I got a call that it was done. Went and picked it up and dropped off the rental. My car looks great, clean and with no issues whatsoever!
They are very friendly until payment is due even though insurance handles everything. Make sure everything is completely paid before giving them your vehicle. That includes the deductible.
