Everyone was very nice. Dr. Marsden is a nice man and took care of my tooth problem very easily. You can tell he definitely knows his teeth!
I am a new patient. It took a little while to fill out paperwork and wait to be seen. But it wasn't at all a super long wait. There were other patients who arrived after me but were seen first, but I'm sure they were regular patients which is understandable.
To begin, the office is filthy. The bathroom is disgusting. The furniture and equipment are worn down and shabby-looking; and the decor is probably thirty years out-of-dated. However, don't assume the ghetto appearance means his rates are lower.
I would recommend this dentist to all my friends and family and will continue to go here.

Dr. Marsden and staff are great. He did cavities and a root canal for me. His care was affordable after insurance and my visits were pleasant. My whole family goes to him and he's done great with all of us.
I recently cancelled all of our future appointments with this dentist. For months I had a credit because even though I told them I did NOT have to pay a copay, instead of taking the time to confirm, they took my money anyway. Then Marsden himself did "an audit" and found that I owed a balance from 2007 and took my credit away! SEVEN years later!! I have never heard of such a thing! I told Marla how unfair I thought it was because I couldn't even dispute it with my insurance company after so long. They insisted I owe it. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't!! I would have gladly paid it then like I have every invoice! Either way, they got paid, but will not receive another cent from me.
Secondly, Dr. Marsden hurt me. I've never been hurt by a dentist, but I would think that the appropriate response would simply be to apologize. However, when I flinched away, he chuckled and said, "Did that hurt?" Rather than apologizing, he blew it off, and continued to hurt me.
He is arrogant and uncaring. His office is nasty.
Look for someone else. Using Marsden is a mistake
On a side note, expect short customer service and long waits after which Marsden will visit with you for a couple of minutes at best.
None of the staff know what anyone else in the offer us doing. Marsden himself has an attitude of "I'm the dentist. I know what's best. That's what you are going to do." If you question him look out.

I wished we had read the reviews first. We went to Marsden because of his being in our insurance dental network. What a mistake!
