Very good so far! I hope they prioritize lighting and water fountains in construction. Those seem to be nessesities right now and are greatly missed. Some benches under the trees would be nice too, but less important. Bring a jug of water and all will be good.
Cute area for my dog to play! Beautiful plants for them to do their business on also.
Still being worked on. Great place to let them run around leash free in the city. Hopefully they do a large dog small dog division. It makes a diffrence.
Starting to really come together. Interested to see how it will look once competed. Dogs loved it. Sniffing butts and peeing on trees...expect that much.
Apparently this park is relatively new, and is still a work in progress. And...there's quite a bit of work to be done, I think. They've fenced in a nice, big area, plenty of room for plenty of dogs to run and play. However, much of it is just bare red clay, so don't go if it has rained in the past day or so. Hopefully the city plans on putting in some ground cover, whether that be actual grass or wood/rubber mulch like I've seen in some nice dog parks. Maybe even some large rocks to jump/play on. At the moment, there are no pet waste stations in the park itself, though there is one near the parking lot, about 100 yards away. There's no water spigot or anything either (although sometimes there's a jug), so bring your own water. Because there aren't yet many people/dogs there very consistently (meaning there are no witnesses to shame irresponsible/lazy pet owners), you need to watch your step as there's quite a bit of dog waste just left on the ground, especially where there actually is greenery/weeds to cover the clay.
