Cheap. Pool. Mini gym. Right by campus. Buuuuut, kinda run down, dirty, and right by the train tracks- 0430 wake up gets old
First off, I would like to say that I know for a FACT some of these reviews are from fake people. AP is a nice place to visit but a horrible place to live. They did not do their job like they should have and because of this tons of people are just now being contacted saying their payments did not process. I obviously was one of these people. This is not the first time this has happened. I told them that it was taken out of my bank account and that I have the slip and approval email to prove it and was basically told I need to pay again or be evicted. I payed the back rent and not even a week later I was called into the office again. They told me that I have to pay another 185 for "late fees"!! All because they did not stay on top of their job and make sure their system is working. I have played over 1500 in two weeks and have to pay ANOTHER 500 for rent in two days! My roommates are horrible and one of them has her girlfriend living with her. I have called the front office to complain yet, nothing has been done about it. Normally I would not care, but if you could see the way they leave the house, you would be upset about 5 people living there too. The people in the pool are always loud and leave beer bottles and dog hair every where. AP is trying to make the apartments worth living in, but they are doing cosmetic changes and not what really needs to be done. Although I have had some issues with the management, they are a HUGE step up from the previous one. She was a pain in the butt. As far as maintenance goes, thy knock for about two seconds, loud, at 8:30AM, they just come in. I told them almost 8 months ago, that the dishwasher in my apartment and the dryer was broken and still nothing has been done. Bottom line, you can do better than AP. Plus, $500+ for a apartment with people you possibly could hate? Just save your money and go somewhere else.
Terrible appartments. No one competent works there. It take at least a month if anything needs to be fixed. They also like putting unecessary charges on you bill. You'd be better off sleeping under a bridge.
Angelo Place is a good apartment complex for those who are just leaving campus dorms. The staff is great, and I never once had problems with the maintenance people. My only complaint is, my vehicle was vandalized twice. With no security cameras surrounding the place, it was very difficult to find who did it and caused a lot of problems.
