I will never take my child to see Dr. Campanini again. My son was with a doctor at Shannon Medical which we loved and never had any issues with. Then my insurance changed and I had to switch doctors. I was told lots of good things about Campanini, so I decided to go with him. Big mistake!

Eventually he was diagnosed with not ONE but TWO inner ear infections that Campanini missed.

Absolutely the best pediatrician I have ever had.

After a week of meds, my child was not getting any better. So I decided to take him to the Walk-In Medi center, once again my child did great. Until we got into a room and a women doctor came in. My son was fine until she went to look into his ear's (which Campanini said there was nothing wrong with.) Now taking my husband and myself, plus a nurse to hold my son down, just so the doctor could see what was going on with him.

Not a good Dr

But I thought Campanini said "oh it's nothing, " then why was he giving my child more medicine?

Horrible, Horrible!!! I would never recommend Dr. Campanini to anyone!!!!!

Wrong, one week later I had to take my child back in for a blister that suddenly came about on the out area of his ear ( same one that there was nothing wrong with.) So once again we go back to Campanini's office. Everything was fine in the waiting room, until we went back. My son flipped out (I've never had him act this way at the doctor's before,) wouldn't let the nurse touch him for his weight or temp, my son was literally scared of her. Finally, while I was physically restraining my 2 year old child, she was able to get his vitals. Then she put us in a room, my son did everything he could to get out of this room. I physically had to block the door so he wouldn't run out of it. As soon as Campanini walked in the door my child turned pale white and started to tremble in fear of him. Then Campanini asked "oh, what's the child's name? Are you kidding me? Campanini didn't even read his chart to see what my son's name was.

Moral of this story: DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CHILD TO SEE CAMPANINI!!!!

I thought okay maybe my child just didn't feel good and that why he acted this way, right?

My child was seen by the E.R. which we had no problem with everything went great! Once my son was diagnosed with an ear infection and was told to follow-up with his PCP (which was now Campanini.) I got him an appointment two days later with Campanini, everything was fine in the beginning (except for the children whose parents let them run wild in the waiting room with a hour and a half wait.) My son did fine with the nurse taking his temp (in the ear), weight, all the vitals, and put us in a room. Then Campanini came in and my child lost it (never met the man before this) screaming, crying, terrified of Campanini. Campanini looked into my son's ears and said "oh there is no ear infection at all, but keep taking the medicine the E.R. gave you, until it is finished." (Weird if there wasn't an infection.)

Now I've have switched doctors to a new PCP and my son's first appointment won't be for a couple more months. So I am hoping by then my child will be able to be seen again without any problems.

While my mother and myself restrained my 2 year old child so Campanini could look at the outside of his ear. During this time Campanini busted open the blister which started to bleed. Campanini said (Oh, look it's bleeding.) Campanini then goes on to tell me that, "well it's nothing really, but here let me give you a cream to put on the ear. Oh and we will put your son on another antibiotic to get this cleared up."

I would give 0 stars if possible.

BECAUSE OF CAMPANINI NOT ONLY IS MY CHILD AFRAID OF DOCTORS, HE WON'T LET ANYONE, INCLUDING MYSELF TOUCH HIS EARS.

Great doctor, very respectful, and very kind. Always with the right diagnosis. I have to drive an hour to take my kids with him, believe me, it is always worth it.
