I didn't think it was that bad everybody was nice and caring when I stayed there. Keep in mind I was 14 at the time
This place really helped me. I miss it but I dont. Lol. If I were ever to break down again, this is the place I would want to be at.
Nurses are rude for one. If you wanted to talk to your family member, think again, definitely not gonna happen at this place. They continuously give excuse after excuse as to why you can't talk to your loved one AND THEN get even more rude with you like it's your fault... Hate this place. Uneducated, lazy, down right do not care about their patients... 10/10 would not recommend.
Please DO NOT go here the staff is awful I am honestly willing to go to court over this. There were kids literally making out whenever the nurses were not looking. I AM A 16 YEAR OLD FEMALE AND THERE WERE BOYS MAKING SEXUAL ADVANCES ON ALL OF THE GIRLS AND NOTHING WAS DONE. Every time there was a kid crying or breaking down they had no sympathy and would give us "Think Sheets" ( Which were papers that made you explain what you did wrong ) after 5 think sheets they put you in the "blue room" which was they're isolation room. Which was super embarrassing for any of the people in there because it was right next to the bathroom so the kids would go to "go to the bathroom" and actually just stare at the kid in the "blue room" I came back wanting to kill myself even more than before because of how the doctors judged me and the nurses told me that I was a bad person.
My friend went they after trying to kill himself self and came out with a positive attitude and got a job and hasn't had thoughts about killing himself anymore.
