I hadn't planned on stopping, but the 10-hour drive through stormy Texas proved too much. The room here at HIE was roomy, clean, quite pleasant. The staff was the friendliest I've encountered at a hotel, ever!
Very nice room with all the modern things we could want. Comfortable and big room. Good service. Easy check in and check out. Excellent breakfast. Overall one of the best hotel stays we've had.
Three weeks later, I called to see if I'd left an item. Mandy, who took my call, was gracious and sympathetic, and when she didn't find it in the lost-and-found, took the time to go to the room on the off-chance it'd been overlooked. Excellent accommodations and services.
Nice stay. Quiet place. Bed was ok - not great. Renovations are going to be great when finished!! Staff went above and beyond to help. Super friendly!
Excellent and prompt service from the front desk. Was able to obtain extra bedding for the pullout couch quickly. Breakfast was stocked and readily available. Parking lot can get filled quickly. Went while there was still some renovations, but no impact to the room.
First off, the receptionist was one of the nicest I've ever dealt with, exterior of hotel was nice, same as other holiday inn, interior was a complete surprise, very different than the regular holiday in. More of a new modern hip design. Very nice! Room was huge, beds comfortable, hallways were actually as cool as the rooms, nice place, very impressed.
