Fried Catfish, Bacon-wrapped Pork Tenderloin, Angry Filet, Ain't Your Grandma's Meatloaf, Chicken Fried Steak/Chicken, and Seared Salmon
Some must tries:
Walked in and was sat at a table fairly quickly. Restaurant was about 25% full, so was expecting a quick, pleasant, and enjoyable experience. Instead, we sat there and watched as two more parties arrived, were sat, waited on, and served drinks. After sitting there for 10-15 min with no contact from any of the staff we stood up and left. On the way out I noticed one waitress playing with the bartender and two waitresses playing with the hostess. Guess that's why it was only 25% full, no one can stand a place with such a terrible staff. I will not be going back.
Only 4 stars because I had one drink, did not try the food but I will be returning to do so. At which point I will update but nice atmosphere great drink and good customer service. Kinda weird to have a manager (I think) standing near the bar arms folded mouthing to our bartender. Idk just struck me as odd
What really sets this restaurant apart is the service. It's soooo bad. How can it be this bad? We were seated at 12:52pm. We did not get food until 2:20. This is LUNCH. LUNCH can't take longer that an hour!! We fought over the bread (which was fantastic) and the "unlimited" $5 chips which was limited to the times we our waiter after we ran out of chips (zero) and we had to refill our own water and tea. I just don't understand how someone can spend this kind of money on a fancy place and not hire a decent wait staff.
We had a similar experience to other Google reviewers. The atmosphere is terrific. The menu is diverse. Presentation is very good, taste is a little bland for the Southwest. It's overpriced.
It's a little pricier.. but you get what you pay for, which is an artistically plated, upscale meal. I'm almost always left with leftovers, but sometimes I'm enjoying the food so much that once I'm full I want to be disgusting and eat the rest of it
I only have about 40 more years left to live. Too little time to go back to this place.
3 for the price. If prices were less I would rate 4. Atmosphere is terrific, wait staff was average maybe a little less (a little slow for the amount of people present and did not have pleasant extras like bringing out water with an alcoholic beverage or even offering). Food was good but again scant for the price. The beer was very good and the facilities appear to be clean. Not really Mexican food, more American with one or two Mexican food choices.
The cheesecake is 11/10
