2nd there and GOING again. I don't complain about price but I do go for the sercive and food. Filet Mignon medium well and shrimp on point. Margarita strong..The chef is a character. Great time..
At Bonsai Garden you have an exprierence unlike any other. The service is great no matter if your at the grill, sushi bar , table , or the bar. The place was clean and comfortable. I really recommend this place, the vegetables and food are very fresh. The waitresses and chefs are also very welcoming . ;)
That was the best Teriyaki chicken I have ever had in my life! I tend to be a very picky eater, but the flavors were blended so well and had a slight sweetness to it that made me want to stuff myself to the gills. And I did, because the portions were enormous. I had plenty of leftovers to take home and enjoy.
Great food, great chefs, great hostess, short on waitstaff today. There were 2 girls working doing their best to keep up. Love this place though.
We were staying in the area during an evacuation, and this place was such an excellent little escape we visited it twice in the same week. I am not into sushi, so I had the Teriyaki Chicken Hibachi dinner, while my wife had the spider roll, the avocado and eel, and the California roll. We also had the Pomegranate Margaritas and they were delicious!
If you like chipped dinerware, i don't, although it was one bowl out of four so make of it what you will. The customer service was exceptional. Our water was very nice and kept the drinks full, he only reached in front of my face once to refill a drink. I gave Bonsai Garden a three for over all character; loose the chipped bowls and make sure all servers know not to reach in front of the guest at the table. My food was tastey
We sat at the hibachi grill our first visit, and at a booth the second. Watching the chef do tricks and such and cook the food right in front of us was a fun experience, and all the staff we interacted with were gracious and friendly. I forgot to specify I wanted steamed rice the first time, but no one gave me any hassle or acted inconvenienced that I needed to change the order after it had already been put in, even though it was completely my mistake.
My wife says the sushi was incredible. The presentation was beautiful and she said it tasted great. We were so impressed with the food and friendly service that both times we checked in with the manager just to let him know. We are planning to move to the area soon and this will definitely be a regular date-night spot for us.
