Beds & pillows are super comfy too..
I had received confirmation of reservation for two queen beds with a kitchen and smoking approved. I had only asked for a double with microwave and small refrigerator, but I was offered a room with a kitchen for $6 more. When I arrived, the Front Desk Clerk was so kind and helpful. I was informed due to a tornado taking out their rooms with kitchens, I was given a room with two double beds, a microwave, and small refrigerator. It was a non-smoking room, but I was assured that due to the situation, I could smoke and there would be no extra charges. The glass plate in the microwave did not fit that model of microwave. Luckily, I had brought a food warmer. However, the use of the food warmer and any other item on that circuit, tripped the breaker. I would have to call the front desk and the young lady would have to reset the breaker while checking in other guests. She was a SUPER-DUPER TROUPER!!! What could have been a very messed up situation with our lodging experience, was made a blessing by your Front Desk Personnel. Upon loading up to leave, I met with the two Housekeeping Personnel. I explained that the room was marked as non-smoking, but due to the issues with the rooms in disrepair, the Front Desk on shift told us that is was okay. I spray the room with Lysol deodorizer before I left. The Housekeeping staff said that they would take care of anything more and nothing would be added to my bill. Your staff at this location has EXCELLENT Customer Service skills. As I said, they made what could have been quite a mess into a enjoyable stay. The ONLY reason I did not give the EXCELLENT rating is that I feel when I reserved the room, the Reservationist should have been aware that this location only had limited rooms, limited smoking rooms, and definitely no rooms with kitchens available due to a Tornado that had come through 6-8 weeks previous to my stay. GREAT prices! Very clean. Super kind personnel!
I called 411 information for phone number for this location, but ended up with 800 number. I got the room booked just fine, but I requested a first floor room, because I was traveling with pet cats. When I arrived, no first floor rooms were available. If I wanted to wait until 11pm I could have a room they would be cleaning when someone checked out at 11pm. I was way too tired from driving for over 12 hours, after getting up very early, earlier than I left my original location. I had cats with me, so I had to carry all of their things up a bunch of stairs and down a walkway. It was not convenient at all. I had to make several trips back and forth to and from the car; same thing next morning when leaving. The staff was very nice and tried to be accommodating. I know it was probably not the location's fault that I did not get a first floor room, but it still was very inconvenient. The location was kind of noisy; several ambulances going by during the night made it a little difficult to get much sleep, which I really needed.
Very clean motel and staff was excellent and very helpful. I was very impressed with helpful everyone was I will be back soon. My schedule for San Angelo was for one day. I stay extra day just because I enjoyed the my stay much. Thank You Very Much!
Good room. But nothing stellar. The wifi was out. Those things sometimes can't be helped. But the floors were dirty. The finish didn't make that visible. But walking barefoot made it undeniable. It was especially bad in the bathroom where you're barefoot stepping out of the shower.
Very nice for discount stay, Night Auditor Edith was Terrific. Outstanding Rep. for chain. Knowledgeable, jnformative & pleasant. What room lacks in size. Is totally overshadowed by the cleanliness & bright decor..
