My husband and i recently looked into having a birthday party at pearl of the concho for a daughters first birthday .. something to remember were she would have her first time swimming.we had a tour the lady was nice and shows us everything. we explained we wouldnt know for sure when we needed to book our daughters first birthday party .. due to me being pregnant and almost due. The lady assured us if we were to have our child close to the day we wanted. we could still get our deposit back ... i gave a deposit for december and we went into signing a contract . I came to the policy of cancelation i asked about it cause theres a 21 day pior to date reserved notice to recieve my refund but i signed a contract bout 8 days before wanting to reserve it. i asked ashley about the 21day time period cause it doesnt honor my time frame and it made no sense. my question was not answered or was i given any information about my time frame and my concerns about what happens if an emergency would come up if i get my deposit back or does this contract needs to be adjusted to accommidate my time frame. She said as i quote " well you already have all your party arrangments and invatations and stuff for party so you know your for sure going to have your party so you dont have too worry about this 21 days... i was confused. she told me not to worry about it. i dont know why i signed the contract anyway.. well three days later i have to cancel the party due to going into labor and the lady who answered had to call me back so she calls me back an says we cant give you your deposit back but she stated we can change date .. Worry over came me like if i just got hustled over 150 of my daughters birthday spending. Im trying not to stress but i feel mislead to what was pitched and sold to me. david robertson and leon burke stated that they highly depend on customer satisfaction and that a majority of clientel depends on family. How is this anything what they claim to be.i feel i was underhanded to know my right too know information at my request and not honor my contract to be in able to recieve my deposit back till i recover and came make a new reservation but instead i feel forced to making a resevation at a later date.i dont understand why they didnt personalize my contract to the time frame i was in or just tell me they were unable to do that. Now that an emergency came up not even 5 days later im unable to recieve my deposit back. I feel that they stold from not only my husband and i but from my daughter. Husband will dispute this and report to all site consumer reports against this unfortunant situation the hassel they have caused is disturbing ...hope this doesnt ever happen to any woman pregnant or family who looks into having a reservation with pearl on the concho .. this is who and what business ethics they practicent .. i hope my husband and catch the owners conserns on this matter and challange there statments they gave to this community as a local family resedents of san angelo and want to know will they fix this and return in full my deposit. So that my daughtee can have the celbration we planned for her to have. Bad small business practice .. and all supporters of this company it stands with is this how you do business too. Who is at lost.. pearl of the concho or are daughter funds for party.never had experience a situation like this just for me having a child. David robertson did say they try to be family oriented guess that means they arent but say they try but whats the problem money .. is what they need specially they need it more to stay afloat .. my family and anyone i knkw ill be sure to let know my experience and to think twice or not at all to book or reserve at this place they should shut it down and demolished it in the first place .. false practice of pitch sales once they got u .. they rip you off know matter who or what ur situation. Cant imagine what if a unfortant fate they still take ur money easy money for them with out even given service. Customer or business satisfaction . Robertons and burkes stride.
We were evacuating from Hurricane Harvey out of the Corpus Christi area. The staff were extremely courteous, understanding, and accomodating to our needs. Receiving such nice service at a time of uncertainty, fear, and desperation was a blessing for my family. They were willing to allow our pet dog to stay even though it was not a pet friendly room, waived any cancellation fees when we checked out 1 night early, and let us check in early on our first day. After evacuating Corpus at 4:30 in the morning we had no where to go and just wanted to get out of car after a 6 hour drive. Letting us check in early was such a relief. I truly want to thank the staff for there courtesy and understanding when me, my wife, 5 year old daughter, 9 month old daughter, and in laws were in a time of need. Oh, and the Captain Colada and steak fingers are awesome.
Very friendly, overly accommodating staff, Monica and Stephanie (thank you ladies and all the staff for truely caring about our stuation) Exceptionally clean rooms! Very comfortable beds! Lots to do in and around the hotel...indoor pool, mini golf, arcade, restaurant, etc). Wonderful breakfast which included homemade biscuits and gravy. After making an emergancy trip from 12 hrs away, stress of a passing family member, calling multiple hotels to inquire if they were pet friendly...we finally found Pearl on the Concho Hotel! They are pet friendly without costing an arm and a leg! We planned on staying one night, but extended our stay! Would definitely recommend this hotel!!!!
Went for a wedding reception. Cool little hotel. Indoor pool, retro arcade games, pool tables, and a bar/restaurant. Has something for everyone during your stay. Didn't stay the night but the room I was in was clean and nice.
The staff here is awesome! Been here 3 Times now on work related trips and they already know me and my co-worker by name. The rooms are always clean and the food and drinks at the restaurant and bar are excellent. The only con for me is the bed covers are to thin for my liking. All in all excellent place for work or family trips.
